Uprating benefits & pensions

Today I raised a number of social security in Parliament.

Uprating benefits in line with inflation is welcome, but it doesn't make up for the UK Government's previously breaking its commitments, leaving people with less support that they otherwise would have had.

There is also a litany of problems with the DWP, including the lower rate of Universal Credit for under-25s, people being discouraged from applying for disability support, the level of earnings at which Carer's Allowance is cut off, and concerns about the state pensions.
