Comments on levelling up funding

Wendy Chamberlain has commiserated applicants in her constituency who have missed out on levelling-up funding announced today, while recognising a successful application benefiting Leven.

Wendy Chamberlain said:

“I know that those involved in projects in North East Fife which have not been successful will be disappointed by the announcement today. A lot of work goes into every bid and I hope that other routes can be found to take these schemes forward. I will do what I can to make that happen.

“At the same time the funding for the active travel network in Leven is welcome. I am sure this will be a great benefit to the wider Levenmouth and North East Fife areas.”
